Save
Historic Old Torrance has a twofold mission of advocacy
and education regarding historic preservation. Save Historic
Old Torrance works to preserve the architectural treasures
in the City of Torrance, its cultural heritage and charm,
as well as its street scape, open space, and sense of
neighborhood and community through education and preservation
strategies.Save Historic Old Torrance provides ever-increasing
services due to its dedication to the community of Torrance,
some of which are listed below:

Provide educational publications, videos, City Cable TV,
web site, and other media sources to enhance public awareness
of our historical treasures.
•
Provide educational forums and meetings for our community.
•
Preserve historic buildings and landmarks for ourselves
and future generations.
•
Provide educational excursions to, and tours in, historic
areas and neighborhoods.
•
Provide restoration/renovation resources through a variety
of media sources, referrals, books, publications, suppliers,
and other sources.
